Over 100 years of experience

Joe Eckl

Joe, was born in Austria and studied International Marketing at JK-University and International Business at Business school of University of Salzburg. In timber trading he has over 40 years experience.

In the 80s and 90s he was working with one of the biggest Austrian timber exporting companies that specialized in North Africa and Middle East but were always exploring new markets for the European softwood industry. For example, they were the pioneers in exporting spruce logs from Europe to Japan.

Ali Al Dilaimi

Is Slovenian born and educated at the University of Ljubljana at the faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport.

Ali has over 30 years of shipping experience in agency and chartering and started as an Apprentice Officer for Splonsa Plovba, International Shipping and Chartering Ltd in 1993. Ali then in 2000 joined Meridiana Shipping agency where he worked as a Commercial Manager. From 2005 to the present day he is the owner/manager of Navigo, Shipping Agency and Chartering based in Koper, Slovenia. Ali has placed the Navigo company to the position as an industry leader in the Slovenia/Croatian ports and Central Europe agency arena.

Daniel Whick

Is British born but was educated in the Netherlands and graduated from Webster University in Leiden the Netherlands with a degree in Business Management and International Relations.

He has over 30 years shipping experience as a ship-broker in London. Daniel started his career in shipbroking back in 1991 were he joined Giles Pritchard Gordon Shipbroking Limited. Over many years he built up a strong relationship with Oil Companies/Traders and Ship-Owners globally. In addition to working on VLCC and Suezmax's on the spot side he also worked on the time charter /project sector. Daniel joined Galbraiths Limited in 2011 and was elected as a board director in 2017. He left Galbraiths Ltd in December 2023 to set up his own shipping consultancy business.

Filip Rogelj

Born in Slovenia, Filip holds an MBA in Marketing from Schellhammer Business School in Cadiz, Spain.

With over 8 years of experience in digital and media solutions, he has a proven track record of delivering innovative strategies for businesses worldwide. His multicultural background and expertise in digital transformation make him a valuable asset in today's global business landscape.
